HypnoBirthing has become one of the most highly acclaimed birthing methods in decades.  It is based on the Mongan Method, which is more of a philosophy about the birthing process as it is a technique.
Through a very simple program of self-hypnosis and education, women learn to release emotions tied to fear-based stories and misinformation, and they are helped to see birth as normal.

Penny Kelly is an author, teacher, Naturopathic physician, lecturer, and consultant. In 1979, while working as a Tool and Process Engineer for Chrysler Corporation, she experienced a full, spontaneous awakening of kundalini that completely altered her life and path. She left Chrysler and returned to school to study the brain, consciousness, perception, cognition, intelligence, dreams, and intuition.

She began teaching intuition to others in 1982 in Mt. Clemens, MI, and in 1987 moved her classes to a dilapidated old barn on a farm in southwest Michigan. The farm became Lily Hill Farm and the barn the Learning Center. Today, she teaches a variety of classes and workshops on the topics of intuition, organic gardening, nutrition, and healing. She maintains a large consulting practice that includes both personal, spiritual emergency, dream work, and nutritional consulting.

Since the late 1990s Penny has been involved in ongoing scientific research and investigations into consciousness at Pinelandia Laboratory near Ann Arbor, MI and has been the subject of some research as well.

She is active in west Michigan in terms of helping to foster sustainability in business, a regional food system, complementary currencies, and conscious leadership. She fills a number of speaking engagements and has been a frequent guest on radio and internet programs. She has written 5 books of her own, edited 9 books on the Christian view of Christ-consciousness, and co-written 14 other books on a variety of self-development topics from relationships to career to enlightenment.

Penny is the mother of four children and five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. She holds a degree in Humanistic Studies from Wayne State University, a degree in Naturopathic Medicine from Clayton College of Natural Health, and is currently working toward her Ph.D. in nutrition from the American Holistic College of Nutrition.

Lily Hill Farm was started in 1987 and is located in the beautiful "fruit belt" area of southwest Michigan. With rolling hills, cows, chickens, an organic garden and greenhouse, and a large, sprawling home, it offers a quiet setting in which to learn, develop one's self, and connect to the Earth. We have rooms for overnight stays at $95 per person per night, with breakfast included in the cost of the room. Couples stay for $125 per night, and familiy rates are $150 for two adults and two children.

Located 9 miles south of I-94 and 1/2 mile west of M-40, it is an easy drive and simple to find. Whether you're coming from the Chicago area or from the Detroit-Ann Arbor area, get off I-94 at Exit 60 and go south on M-40. (Turn left at the end of the exit ramp if you're coming from the east. Turn right at the end of the ramp if you're coming from the west.) About 3-4 miles south of the expressway, you will come to Lawton, MI. M-40 is Lawton's Main Street, so go right through the middle of downtown Lawton and keep going south out of town. About 5 miles south of Lawton, you will see VicTree Ranch on your left and 88th Avenue on your right. Turn right onto 88th Avenue and go 1/2 miles to Lily Hill Farm. You will see the sign out in front.
