We travel all over the world searching out great tasting artisanal foods. We take the time to get to know the producers, learn about the foods they make, and bring it to you while it’s at the peak of flavor.

We hand-select the best of the batch:
 Some cheeses, meats and even olive oils you see in other stores may look the same as what we sell, but they don't taste the same. What we sell at the Deli is often exclusive to us or hand-selected to provide you with the best flavor we can find. Feel free to do your own taste test—we guarantee everything we sell and will gladly refund your hard earned money if you're not satisfied.

We take great care of our food:
 We hand-cut and slice to order, rather than pre-wrapping our meats and cheeses. Sure it takes a couple of extra minutes to do this to order, but it reflects our commitment to giving you food with the best flavor possible. You really CAN taste the difference!

Featuring organically grown produce, organic groceries, and alternative toiletries, coffee brewed with organic fair trade coffee beans and daily lunch specials and HOT soup featuring the finest organic ingredients.

Over 1,000 customers stream through our doors daily from sunrise to sunset, seven days per week. Three trucks leave each morning, delivering to over 40 restaurants and markets stretching from Ann Arbor all the way back to Royal Oak and Grosse Pointe. Our baked goods delight our customers and fill us with pride.

One small storefront at a time, other businesses have joined us and West Willis St. has become a vibrant community that is spreading (shop-midtown.com). Our vision of an “Agri-Urban” economy is beginning to come to life in the seeds of a new economy, based not on a declining industrial economy, but with sustainability and community at its core.

Trixie's Coffee was opened December 21, 2001 - the day of the winter solstace. Its an appropriate birthday, since Trixie's provides solace to so many weary coffee drinkers. Our motto is: Beautiful freedom of expression enveloped in coffee, music, poetry, & art. We strive to accept all people, as long as there is peace and love in their hearts.
