Family Farms' Cooperative is a family owned business whose goal is to maintain a quality of life living on a sustainable farm. You can be assured that all of our animals are raised outside on green pastures. All livestock and poultry are rotated on to fresh areas routinely and with some breeds daily.

Michigan Milk Producers Association is a member owned and operated dairy cooperative serving over 2,300 dairy farmers in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana and Wisconsin. Established in 1916, MMPA is the largest dairy cooperative in Michigan.

Food should taste good. Eating should be fun. Healthy food can be delicious and enjoyable. Knowing what’s in our food and where it comes from can make for a more satisfying meal. Supporting local farmers and producers helps our local economy and culture to thrive. Doing the weekly shopping doesn’t have to be a drag. Although it’s more fun if done in drag.
At PFC, we offer natural foods and other healthy products that are free of chemical preservatives and coloring. In selecting which products to carry, we give preference to foods that are minimally processed and packaged, organically grown, fairly traded, cooperatively produced and locally sourced.
A cooperative is defined by the International Co-operative Alliance as “an autonomous association of persons united voluntarily to meet their common economic, social, and cultural needs and aspirations through a jointly owned and democratically controlled enterprise.”
To put it simply, a co-op is any group of people who pool their resources to get what they need. Co-ops are controlled and equally co-owned by their members, and operate by the seven International Cooperative Principles and summarized below:
