Hmong American and other Asian American youth in Detroit develop leadership skills and awareness of their identity, community, and social justice issues. DAY Project has had two successful summer intensive programs as well as a weekly mentoring program focused on preparing for college. The youth often collaborate with Detroit Summer on community projects.
