I have accepted the position of Interim Executive Director of the national independent television network Free Speech TV and have moved to Denver. I plan to close this site in the near future, but it is still enjoying substantial traffic so I am leaving it up for now as a public service. It has been my honor to work with you all and support the amazing things being done in Detroit. --Ron Williams

why not hire somebody locally
why not hire somebody locally to update and advance the site? i know at one point in time you had somebody working part-time doing site development. it seems like it would a good way to implement some of your beliefs about alternative economies...perhaps it's just not feasible at this time though.
Hire Somebody Locally?
Thanks for your comment. I am not in a position to hire someone locally, but would be very open to a local organization or individual taking responsibility of the site going forward. Anyone interested can contact me at ron [at] happyfrogdetroit [dot com].
