The Center for Community-Based Enterprise, Inc. (C2BE) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit which supports and connects entrepreneurs, community and resources to grow “community-based enterprises” (CBEs) in Detroit.

The Detroit Community Cooperative (DCC) is a broad-based, grassroots community collaboration. It's a meeting ground for worker cooperatives, community-based enterprises, their developers, friends and supporters. It is a place to share, learn and meet partners to build Detroit's community-centered economy. Since October 2011 the DCC has been holding monthly potluck dinners, at different member locations, to publicize examples of grassroots Detroit community development. Members with common interests have already begun additional meetings around topics of special interest. As relationships develop, DCC members will co-create its path.  The Center for Community Based Enterprise has been honored to help bring the group into existence, and is providing an online presence for the group until a separate website is established.  If you'd like to get involved, please feel free to join the "Friends of DCC" announcements list.
