Backdoor Friends Purebred Cat Rescue was officially organized as a 501-C nonprofit organization in early 1998. Since then, our group has expanded to Five permanent board members and a host of volunteers. We have processed over 1,000 cats since our first gathering as a rescue organization. All of these cats were tested for the FIV/FELV virus, vaccinated, spay/neutered (if age permitted) and ultimately placed into loving homes. Our goal is to continue our mission by selectively matching our cats personality with perspective adoptive families.
